If you haven’t heard it by now, the Chicago Bears are playing the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday Night Football in about four days. The match-up Bears fans have been dreading is finally coming to fruition at a very inopportune time.
There is one bright spot so far this week and it is what Andy Reid had to say during a press conference regarding third-year quarterback Mitch Trubisky.
“His resilience there to keep battling like he did through the year, that’s something special. And how he’s been playing good football.”
A lot has gone wrong this season for the Bears, with most of the flack falling on the quarterback. That is just how the NFL works in 2019.
Even though Trubisky does receive a lot of criticism, one thing you cannot take away from the kid is that he has all the heart in the world.
