3 Bold Predictions For Sunday’s Bears vs Packers Game

-

In just one day, the Bears and the Packers will face off, presenting both teams with a chance to kick off a new era in their rivalry on the right foot. Here are my three bold predictions for the upcoming Bears vs. Packers game this Sunday.

Justin Fields Passes for 300+ Yards

Let’s kick things off with a bang! Justin Fields will have new weapons at his disposal, and I expect these additions to result in over 300 passing yards for him on Sunday. Despite coming close a few times before, this would mark the first time Fields surpasses the 300-yard mark. I believe the YAC plays, especially from Mooney and DJ Moore, will be the key factors enabling Fields to achieve this milestone not only on Sunday but also more frequently throughout the season.

Bears Defense Holds Green Bay RBs Under 100 Rushing Yards

This prediction might be considered the least likely to happen, but it’s Week 1, and the Bears defense will be highly motivated. With the Packers missing their star wide receiver, Christian Watson, I believe it will provide an opportunity for the Bears to significantly limit the Packers passing game. This, in turn, will allow the Bears to focus more on stopping the run. While Aaron Jones and AJ Dillon form a great running back duo, if we’re aiming for bold predictions, I wanted to include this one. If it does come to fruition, the Bears will not only win the game but do so convincingly.

Bears Will Score A Special Teams TD

Hear me out: The Bears have improved their special teams with the addition of dynamic punt returner Trent Taylor. Velus Jones Jr. is also very good at returning kick offs. I think one of these two players has a strong chance of breaking a return and housing it on Sunday. While it’s a bit of a stretch due to the Packers improved special teams, there’s still a possibility of scoring through a blocked punt or even a field goal attempt. Nonetheless, I have a feeling that we might see a magical moment reminiscent of Devin Hester’s electrifying plays at Soldier Field.
