Born and raised on Chicago's south side, I am a die-hard sports fan and love talking about and writing about the Cubs, Bears, Bulls, and Notre Dame football and basketball. My first love is baseball and the Cubs are my team. The 2016 World Series was one of the greatest moments of my sports fan life and I was surrounded by family and friends as we watched the special season unfold. Sports are great for many reasons, but I think the reason I enjoy sports so much is they bring people together. I like to look at sports from a numbers-perspective. Finding out why a player is good (or bad) is something that interests me greatly. I hope to bring some interesting thoughts to my writing and would be delighted if you read.
