Jay Cutler Stars In Hilarious NFL Animated Short “Gridiron Heights”

-

With the 2017 NFL season around the corner, it seemed like the perfect time for Bleacher Report to debut the second season of animated short “Gridiron Heights.” For those who don’t know it’s basically a satirical comedy that rags on any and all things NFL. Last year several subjects were hit including the infamous New York Giants boat trip, the presidential election, and of course Roger Goodell. For episode one this year? Jay Cutler undoubtedly stole the show.

The setting is simple enough. It starts on an airplane with Atlanta Falcons head coach Dan Quinn and quarterback Matt Ryan in the cockpit. They’re coming in for a landing. Everything is smooth. That’s when the inevitable 28-3 joke hits. For those who were living under a rock a few months ago that was the score of the Super Bowl before the Falcons collapsed to lose in overtime.

Needless to say Ryan doesn’t handle it well. From that point on chaos ensues, only for Cutty himself to come to the rescue.

No doubt the makers of the show were as thrilled by Jay’s return as everybody else but just couldn’t resist taking a shot at him for his broken thumb incident back in 2011. Whether it was a salty Bears fan who slipped that in is anybody’s guess. “Gridiron Heights” featured 17 episodes last season and they’re all worth a watch. You can find them at this link.

Subscribe to the BFR Youtube channel and ride shotgun with Dave and Ficky as they break down Bears football like nobody else.

One can imagine with the Ezekiel Elliott suspension going down there will be plenty of material to work with in weeks to come. God willing Cutler will make a return.
