We’re just a few hours away from the 2017 NBA Draft, and trade rumors are in full swing. For the Bulls, the question of the day is whether or not Gar Forman and John Paxson will finally pull the trigger and sell high on Jimmy Butler.
According to Brian Windhorst, who covers the NBA for ESPN and follows the Cleveland Cavaliers closely, LeBron James & Co. are out of the running to land Butler.

So there’s that, from a fairly reliable source.
Even if the Cavaliers failed to work a three-team trade for Butler or Paul George, the Bulls will likely still be receiving calls leading up to the draft tonight. The Minnesota Timberwolves, Phoenix Suns, Denver Nuggets, Los Angeles Clippers and Boston Celtics have all been tied to Butler through reports and rumors.
More updates to come as news warrants.
