As of today, nobody had any idea what the 2016 World Series Championship rings would look like. The only details released was the fact that there would be 108 diamonds embedded into the ring to symbolize the amount of years between World Series Championships. The ring is valued around $70,000 dollars and was the creation of the Cubs front office and a few players (Rizzo and Heyward).
About two hours ago, the Cubs released a quick teaser video giving fans a quick glimpse at the rings that the team will receive tonight before they take on the Los Angeles Dodgers.
And I emphasize the word quick.
Check it out.
