I get being pissed off that your big free-agent player hasn’t been on the field, but Rockies fans acting like Kris Bryant has personally backhanded each of them because he’s dealt with injuries the past three years is insane. The former Cubs star reportedly had his $300k Lamborghini stolen in October and now that the news has surfaced all Rockies fans are doing is mocking the 2016 MVP.
According to a report from The Denver Gazette, Bryant’s Lamborghini Huracán was stolen in what turned out to be part of a bigger undercover auto theft ring that has led to multiple arrests.

According to the Cherry Hills Village Police Department, a gray 2023 Lamborghini Huracan Coupe Tecnica was reported stolen on Oct. 2.
The car, owned by “Kristopher Bryant,” according to a police affidavit, had been contracted for transport to his home in Las Vegas. When it failed to arrive at its intended destination, the incident triggered a multi-agency investigation.
CHVPD discovered that a business email scheme had compromised the transport company, allowing suspects to reroute the vehicle without authorization.
The DNVR Rockies Twitter page posted the story a few days ago and fans could not help themselves, making fun of Bryant.

The Rockies signed Bryant to a seven-year, $182 million contract following the 2021 season and I guess Rockies fans think the 2016 World Series champ held a gun to the Rockies to cough up the deal? A horribly-run organization with a long history of bone-headed decisions made yet another one when the Rockies negotiated against themselves that offseason because at the time Bryant’s value had already taken a dip.
But fine, you were sold an idea that Bryant was going to be the new star and he hasn’t come close. It would be one thing if Bryant simply didn’t produce, but we’re talking about a guy who has sadly had his body fail him. Bryant has been limited to 159 total games with Colorado since 2022, missing time with several different injuries.
Sucks and for a guy who has always been a good dude, has shown up and produced when healthy, is now having a miserable end to his career with a fan base that has contempt toward him.
