Cam Newton Jumped At Youth Football Event, Proceeds To Body His Attackers

-

Here is the thing about Cam Newton. He stopped being a great quarterback around the 2018 season. Nobody should’ve been surprised. The guy endured a hellacious pounding for several years, both from pass rushers and his tendency to use his body as a weapon in the running game. It is why he made multiple Pro Bowls and won a league MVP. Yet none of that changes the fact this dude is 6’5 and 245 lbs. He remains a physical specimen. No common citizen in their right mind would want to tangle with somebody like that.

Apparently, five guys didn’t learn that lesson as they attempted to jump the former quarterback at a We Ball Sports x DynastyU 7v7 tournament at B.E.S.T. Academy in Atlanta, Georgia. Nobody is sure how the fight started. Video caught the scuffle in progress and the clearest evidence shows Newton ragdolling one of the assailants completely out of frame. Security soon broke the fight up. No major injuries were suffered based on the latest information, though one can imagine those five attacks have wounded pride.

Newton even got the last laugh when his team at the event won the championship.

Cam Newton didn’t even lose his hat.

That was the funniest part of the entire exchange. You knew exactly who he was based on that hat staying on his head. It was a reminder of how, despite the chaos, he was in total control. A true man among boys. There is a reason the dude was feared by NFL teams for so many years. Specimens like him might as well be built in a lab. When you can make football players look inferior, it is scary to imagine what everyday people might accomplish. I guess now we know.

Maybe Cam Newton will try using this extra publicity as a chance to get one more run in the NFL. He maintains he still has gas left in the tank. At age 34, it is easy to understand his position. If Tom Brady can go to 43, why can’t he go in his mid-30s? At the very least, he can be a backup. Either that or maybe he needs to take up part-time work as a bouncer. Nobody will ever mess with him.
