We’re into the off-season, and the Chicago Bears are of course grabbing headlines. With the number 1 overall pick, they’re poised to stay in the spotlight, especially with the quarterback discussion only growing louder as the 2024 NFL Draft approaches. Wide receiver DJ Moore, a strong supporter of Justin Fields returning to the Bears next season, has been vocal about their evident connection on and off the field. DJ Moore’s recent Instagram post, featuring photos and a 2023 highlight reel, concludes with a photo of himself alongside Justin Fields.
Justin Fields response to the post spoke volumes. He shared DJ Moore’s story and added a fingers crossed emoji in his comment. It seems like Fields is expressing his hope to come back and play next season with the Bears, alongside DJ Moore. The players in the Bears locker room have been very outspoken, and I am sure they won’t dial it down anytime soon.

BK, that is what poles said his job was. and in modern NFL, you need a successful top level QB, without this, GM isn’t doing his job.
yes after a year getting a right tackle, slot receiver with little production and a back up RB is very helpful. no center and maybe the total sum of one guard, Questionable LT and no receiving options after moore and kmet,(I guess mooney, but not sure what the issue is with him) he took a pass on and had money to do it. so no, i don’t think poles has done much to help him, plus, moore only upped the completion percentage by one point. that should tell you a lot about fields future.
Poles main job was NOT to “put people in place to give Fields a real shot”. His job was, and is, to build a championship caliber roster…and that’s what he is doing. When he arrived, there were too many holes to fill in the roster to fix everything in one or two years. It made sense to start with fixing the defense, because it was horrible. In two years he has now built a top 5 defense (yes they will be this year if their top players stay healthy). To say he hasn’t done anything to help Fields is rubbish.… Read more »
With all the holes on this team from the OL, DL, and even ST when R Poles came onboard as GM, it is really laughable at all the armchair GMs (writers and fans alike) who proclaim what Poles should have done, could have done without the correct capital to do so. Poles has brought in more talent in the last 2 years through careful drafting and shrewd cap control than this team has seen since the M Dikta era and a SB win. I do not recall any team that was not already loaded at skill positions, OL and DL… Read more »
