A Big Justin Fields Trade Rumor Just Popped Off

-

The Chicago Bears aren’t going to make a determination on Justin Fields until the end of the season. That was always the plan. GM Ryan Poles wanted a complete picture of what he had at quarterback before deciding the next step. People are divided on how things will unfold. Some believe Fields has done enough to justify more time. He’s improved in most categories this season and still needs more help around him. Maybe the Bears’ two high 1st round picks should be used on areas that could make his life easier.

Others are done with the Fields debate. Difficult circumstances or not, he’s had three years to show what he can do. Outside of the impressive flashes, he hasn’t been consistent enough. Presuming the Bears land the #1 overall pick, it’s time to reset at quarterback. That would mean trading Fields to somebody interested in taking on the project. Prominent insider Benjamin Allbright of KOA Colorado has it on good authority that one team expects to make a significant push if he becomes available.

This is the first Justin Fields trade rumor with serious heat.

Allbright has legitimate NFL sources. This revelation backs up the speculation that has persisted for weeks. Atlanta makes all the sense in the world if Fields becomes available. He’s a Georgia native, for starters. He idolized Michael Vick growing up and has a similar level of athleticism. The Falcons aren’t high enough for a shot to land one of the top quarterbacks in the draft order. So that means either they trade a massive haul to get into the top five or work a cheaper deal to take a chance on Fields.

Last but not least, don’t forget Ryan Pace is in the Falcons’ front office. He drafted Justin Fields in 2021. The man is obviously a big believer in the quarterback. It wouldn’t be difficult for him to sell the idea of a trade. Projections have the Bears getting somewhere near a 2nd round pick for Fields. It could be more, depending on if other teams are interested in a trade. Poles isn’t afraid to deal away players he hasn’t drafted. This deal may come together quickly if he likes somebody enough in this upcoming draft.

Again FAA you should follow your own advice and just don’t read it! You must be a liberal idiot that screams follow the science until science proves there’s only 2 genders. You then get butt hurt and triggered by anyone asking for change because the shit Lambert puts out is regurgitated slop he steals from anyone else. Grow a pair

I would honestly like the qb competition (if they keep JF) to be between him and TB I really think the kid has it. 2-2 undrafted rookie is a much better record than JF has done. Let the kid show what he has, I think we would be surprised.

Hmmmm, a local sports radio guy IN DENVER is an “insider” for the Falcons??? And as, others have stated, he did not even claim to know anything from the Falcons – just a gut feeling NOT “on good authority”

Get over the yellow journalism Lambert – this isn’t an 1890s audience.

Am I the only one who feels that Justin Fields is worth a 1st round pick? I wouldn’t trade him anyway.
