Bears Rookie Shocked Regarding This Aspect Of Justin Fields Game

-

Bears rookie Tyler Scott joined the BFR Podcast and discussed a wide variety of topics. During this episode, Scott gave Bears fans some insight and perspective on what it’s like being on the receiving end of a Justin Fields pass.

“I was presently surprised at just how good of a ball that Justin threw. As far as just his release and his zip and just how catchable of a ball it was.”

Justin Fields Was A Different Quarterback In College

Some people tend to forget how good a passer Justin Fields was at Ohio State. He was not known for big time runs like he’s displayed since entering the NFL. Last season, the weapons around him were not great. Simple as that. Now, Fields still has a lot of room to grow as passer. This is true. But given the amount of resources Ryan Poles has spent this off-season, those weapons have now arrived. The addition of Tyler Scott won’t garner the headlines like the acquisition of DJ Moore. But don’t sleep on Scott. His speed is no joke along with the ability to make plays after the catch. He will likely have a lot more one on one oppourtuties as well as the focus will be heavily on players like Darnell Mooney, DJ Moore, and Chase Claypool. Justin will often look to connect deep as that is a very strong part of his game. Scott happens to excels in that aspect too. This will be the season where Fields answers the question regarding his passing ability. But like I mentioned previously, the excuses are no more. It’s time for Fields to let it rip.

If you caught that reference, you are awesome. If not, I highly suggest you watch “The Bear”. Such a great show.
