The Brooklyn Nets nuked their roster despite being a top-four team in the east after Kyrie Irving requested a trade which was then immiteledly granted. The Nets have a sell-off right now, and the Chicago Bulls should be the first in line, like a neighborhood garage sale. Get the good pieces before they’re gone.
The Bulls are actively looking for guard help either through the trade market or signing a player via the buyout market. Former management, otherwise known as ‘GarPax,’ would’ve chosen the buyout market every time in this scenario. It’s time to see if the Bulls’ new management can differentiate themselves from the previous regime.
Spencer Dinwiddie Trade Idea To Chicago
Bulls Trade: Lonzo Ball & 2023 Portland first-round protected pick
Nets Trade: Spencer Dinwiddie
The Nets can wait and see if Lonzo Ball ever gets healthy again. Unfortunately, the Bulls do not have that same time with an aging roster. This deal would give the Nets another draft pick which they can add to their collection now that they’re officially rebuilding. The Bulls would acquire a similar tier player as Lonzo Ball when healthy. Dinwiddie brings a different skill set to the table. He’s unlikely to solve the heavy iso problems the Bulls face with DeMar DeRozan and Zach LaVine, but he can shoot above 40% from behind the arc and play elite defense.
Ben Simmons Trade Idea To Chicago
Bulls Trade: Lonzo Ball, Coby White, Tony Bradley
Nets Trade: Ben Simmons
While the media tends to trash Ben Simmons without actually watching him play, his elite defense and playmaking ability haven’t gone anywhere since returning from his back injury. Will it hurt paying above $30 million to a player who can not shoot? Of course. Can he help the Bulls run the offense? Better than anyone else they have healthier right now. If the Bulls swung for the fences on draft night when picking Patrick Williams over Tyrese Haliburton, I don’t see why they can’t do the same here.
I’m on board with Ben Simmons. A guy who wants to pass and play D, with a roster that likes to shoot, not play D. Am I missing something here. As, for attitude look around that’s Today’s NBA. Almost every team has one or two guys. Only difference would be Ayo over Coby, I’m a homer, but Coby has more long term upside then Ayo.
Seriously Ben Simmon’s. He’s a bigger head case than Kyrie and scores a 1/3 of the points Kyrie does. The Bulls made their bed now they have to lye in it. Lavine was a big mistake. Ball situation could happen to any team. The offense should be rolling through Vucevic. He’s far taller than anyone on the team. He sees over everyone. He can pass to the open player on the outside. This offense as it stands makes no sense to me.
Don’t want Ben
They could trade for Santa Claus
