Cubs Manager David Ross Went To The Weight Room And Drank Alcohol After Ejection vs. Reds

-

Things got pretty heated in game two of Saturday’s doubleheader between the Cubs and Reds, as both managers and a couple players were eventually ejected. Emotions ran high after Reds’ rookie pitcher Tejay Antone threw a fastball over the head of Anthony Rizzo.

Ross and Cubs catching coach Mike Borzello were ejected and then Reds manager David Bell along with Joey Votto and Jesse Winker were tossed the next half inning after they objected to a high pitch thrown by Adbert Alzolay.

It was the first time Ross was ejected as Cubs manager and he found one way to cool down after getting thrown out of the game. He went to the weight room and drank some alcohol!

Sounds like a perfect opportunity for a new Jim Beam commercial, featuring the Cubs’ skipper.

And Ross maybe had a few more drinks after the game was over, as the Cubs came back to take the lead only to lose on a walk-off wild pitch by Craig Kimbrel.

But forget about the Jim Beam, Ross was definitely chugging some beers, right? Get that behind the scenes video, Cubs productions!
