The Chicago Bulls have been in a full-on rebuild the past few months. The final piece of the puzzle was surrounding head coach Jim Boylen. There was speculation that the longer the Bulls went without making a decision, the more likely he’d stay on for another year. That isn’t the case as news broke earlier this morning that the team and Boylen would officially be parting ways.
The Bulls announced that although it was a difficult decision, they felt a change was necessary. Even though we all knew this, it is still exciting that the Bulls didn’t stick to the status quo. This new regime can finally feel complete as the team said the coaching search would start immediately.
