During the last week, teams have abandoned the intrasquad schedule and started playing exhibition games against other teams. This means that National Anthem has been played before the games. Some teams have carried on Colin Kaepernick’s peaceful protest by kneeling during the anthem; most recently the San Francisco Giants and the Cincinnati Reds.
Yesterday, White Sox manager Rick Renteria was asked what his thoughts were on players kneeling. He responded that he would be supportive of his players regardless of what they decide to do.

With the Giants and Reds stealing the headlines early on, don’t be surprised to see other teams follow suit throughout the shortened 60 game season, including the White Sox.
