If you’re a White Sox fan, there’s a good chance you know who Phil Rogers is. If you don’t, I can quickly explain. Rogers is the leading sports writer for Forbes and used to write for MLB.com. So with a pedigree like that, he should know what he’s talking about right?
Well apparently not. Rogers has seemingly spent the entire off season sharing his thoughts on the White Sox, and none of them make any sense.
Well with the rumors picking up about Nolan Arenado being moved, Rogers couldn’t resist coming up with a hypothetical of his own.
I mean, start high for an asking price I guess, but this is just downright absurd. Even more so now that Robert has signed a team friendly deal that gives him 8 years of control. That alone just doubled Robert’s value.
Just a friendly reminder that Rogers is bat shit crazy and doesn’t know what he’s talking about. Moncada and Robert aren’t going anywhere. Carry on with your Thursday.
