It took just two games for the 18-year-old to record his first career tally.
Chicago Blackhawks rookie forward Kirby Dach scored his first NHL goal on Tuesday night against the Vegas Golden Knights. Fellow former third overall pick Dylan Strome sent a pass cross-crease, and the puck deflected into the net off Dach’s leg.
Dach is skating alongside Dylan Strome and Patrick Kane for the second consecutive game. The trio generated a couple of quality scoring chances for the Blackhawks during the first period.
It’s only been 20 minutes, but Dach has looked far more comfortable than he did in his NHL debut. Hopefully, he’ll continue to make an impact throughout the rest of the game and beyond.
