September 1st, 2018 should go down as one of the greatest days in Chicago sports history.
Ryan Pace, a candidate for Executive of the Year, pulled off the trade for Khalil Mack from the Oakland Raiders for what now seems like pennies.
Trade official, source tells ESPN:
Bears get: Khalil Mack, a 2020 second-round round pick and a conditional 2020 fifth-round pick.
Raiders get: 2019 first-round pick, 2020 first-round pick, 2020 third-round pick, 2019 sixth-round pick.
So Bears get back second-round pick, too

This move proved to Bears fans that the team was serious about competing this year and adding Mack has been a huge reason why they’re in the postseason for the first time since 2010.
