This certainly spells doom to this Bulls squad. Another injury to this young team and another blow for hopeful playoff hopes within the organization. The Bulls are already down Kris Dunn, Lauri Markkanen, Denzel Valentine, and now Bobby Portis.
Look for Jabari Parker to get the starting Power Forward minutes in Bobby and Lauri’s absence. If Fred chooses to keep Jabari on the bench Bulls fans could see Robin Lopez slide into the starting Center position and first-round draft pick, Wendell Carter Jr. slide down to Power Forward.
One thing is for sure, this injury sets the Chicago Bulls back and it’s going to be hard to claw their way into a playoff seed.
