The White Sox announced new promotions to their 2018 schedule on Friday, two of which will delight a specific contingent of the fan base. Hawk Day on Sept. 2 will feature more than kind sentiments and an avalanche of tears. The White Sox will give away nesting dolls in the iconic broadcaster’s likeness.
I’ve been trying to come up with a witty comment but I don’t really know what I can add to a picture of Hawk Harrelson nesting dolls pic.twitter.com/SEMDzlKKRQ

The first 10,000 fans at the G-Spot on Sept. 2 will receive this special collection of Hawk’s career in baseball. It’s no coincidence that the White Sox take on the Red Sox that evening. Hawk routinely recalls his few years in Beantown on many broadcasts and loves to remind everyone about his conversations with Ted Williams.
Anyway…
We love us some Hawk and we love us some Frank Thomas, Paul Konerko and AJ Pierzynski; all of whom will join Harrelson in the booth on his farewell tour.
Come for the beer, stay for the onesie!
The White Sox have formed a multi-year partnership with Budweiser, naming the brew its official domestic beer partner…and they have a special giveaway on Sept. 1 for adults 21 and older. Beware, Sox fans. Every Chicago area college student will descend on The Rate for this promotion.
But first, the beer.
Guaranteed Rate Field is known for its stupendous craft selection of snobby suds, but Scud Light and Bud Heavys will satisfy Merica’s traditionalists.
So, if you don’t have a mustache to savor the hoppy bitterness of a barren IPA…
…feel free to grab yourself a Bud and taste America.
Beer and baseball are proper matches. I mean, who doesn’t love barking at vendors for a “dog and a beer!” But now you can do it in a White Sox onesie.
The White Sox and Budweiser will giveaway this fashion-forward onesie to the first 10,000 fans, 21 and older on Sept. 1.
Just imagine you and Bae cuddled up by the radiator on a Romantic February night as the wind howls off Lake Michigan; onesie on and Bud in your hand. If love won’t keep you warm, at least the onesie will.
