The White Sox waived the white flag in the ninth inning during Friday night’s game against the Cubs, sending infielder Yolmer Sanchez to the mound to get the final three outs.
Willson Contreras greeted Sanchez by hitting his second home run of the night, another shot to straight away right field.

No bat flip this time, though! Earlier in the game Contreras was drilled on the back which resulted in Jimmy Cordero, Rick Renteria and Don Cooper getting ejected.
