People don’t realize how divided the Philadelphia Eagles fanbase was back in the spring of 2019. While many believed Carson Wentz was a future star in the NFL, others felt letting Nick Foles walk was a huge mistake. He’d led the team to a Super Bowl title in 2017 and then got them back to the playoffs again a year later. There’s a reason the team built a statue of him outside its stadium.

Time hasn’t been kind to Eagles fans since then. Wentz is off to the worst start of his career, completing less than 60% of his passes with three touchdowns and six interceptions. Philadelphia is 0-2-1 to start the season after barely pulling off a tie against the winless Cincinnati Bengals.

Meanwhile, Foles was traded from Jacksonville to Chicago. After starting the first three games on the bench, he was put into the game against the Atlanta Falcons where he promptly threw three touchdown passes in the 4th quarter to pull off a 16-point comeback to win 30-26.

That seemed to be the final straw for one Eagles fan who was filmed packing a suitcase. When asked what he was doing, he made his intentions clear.
