Just like the beginning of the 2020 MLB season, Kyle Hendricks will make the Game 1 start for the Cubs against the Marlins in the Wild Card round series Wednesday at Wrigley Field. Yu Darvish, who pitched Friday night against the White Sox, will start Game 2 on Thursday.
Hendricks will go Game 1 for the Cubs followed by Darvish at Game 2. David Ross says, "I feel like I have two aces."

Yeah, David Ross is correct.
Hendricks finished the regular season with a 2.88 ERA in 12 starts, ranking second in the NL in innings pitched at 81.1.He also continued his dominant performance at home, posting a 1.85 ERA in six starts at Wrigley Field.

Meanwhile, Darvish got back on track vs. the White Sox last weekend, as he wrapped up his Cy Young campaign with a 2.01 ERA in 76 innings.
As for the Marlins, Sandy Alcantara will start Game 1.
