White Sox Make A Roster Move And The Lineup Just Got Even Better

-

Who cares that it was the Royals. That’s what good teams do, destroy the really bad ones and that’s exactly what the White Sox did over the weekend, extending their winning streak to four games after sweeping the Royals.

Despite Tim Anderson absence after his groin injury Friday night, the White Sox were hitting on all cylinders, amassing 20 runs on 35 hits on Saturday and Sunday. And now that lineup is about to get even better.

Yes, Adam Engel has done a great job filling in against lefties in right field, and despite Nicky Delmonico driving in a couple runs on Sunday, the White Sox couldn’t wait to get Nomar Mazara back.

That day has finally come.

Mazara began the season on the injured list for an undisclosed reason, but he’s been activated prior to Monday night’s game against the Brewers.

Sadly for some White Sox fans, Yermin Mercedes was sent back to Schaumburg to make room for Mazara.

So, Delmonico gets to stay, but there’s no reason he should be starting any time soon with the addition of Mazara.
