Well, this is certainly discouraging news out of St. Louis, as Friday night’s game that was scheduled between the Cubs and Cardinals has been postponed.

And unfortunately it’s because of more positive COVID-19 test results.

The Cardinals have not played since July 29, and before Friday’s postponement 13 members of the organization had tested positive for the coronavirus.

That included seven players, six of which were identified by the team earlier this week.

Heading into Friday the Cardinals already had to prepare to play 55 games in 52 days following the week-long halt because of the positive tests among the team.

This will mark the 12th straight day that MLB has postponed at least one game because of players testing positive for the coronavirus.

MLB has officially postponed Friday night’s game in St. Louis.
