Cubs third baseman Kris Bryant was a last-minute scratch in Saturday night’s game against the Pirates, sitting out because of a stomach issue. With a couple COVID-19 outbreaks happening across the league teams are going to be even more precautious to avoid more spread of the virus. So far the Cubs are the only team in MLB to not have a player test positive for the coronavirus.

Bryant has had two negative tests, but in following league protocols he’ll miss his second straight game on Sunday.

If the 2020 MLB season is actually going to be completed, we need players to be just like Kris Bryant.

David Bote gets his second straight start at third base filling in for Bryant and he’ll hit leadoff. Josh Phegley gets a start as the DH, while Albert Almora Jr. and Steven Souza Jr. start in the outfield.
