Sunday Night Baseball is officially back in a big way.
Even though the regular season doesn’t debut until a week from today, ESPN is doing a Sunday Night Baseball broadcast this week. It will feature the up and coming White Sox and their cross town rival Cubs.
While the game won’t have any real significant meaning, it’s awesome to see the 2 Chicago teams playing each other on a national stage. And with there being only a handful of exhibition games before the real season kicks off, we should see the probable Opening Day lineups in action. Furthermore, with the crosstown games meaning much more this year than in years past, it will be cool to get a preview of what we might be in store for.
