The White Sox offense is scary as shit and maybe this isn’t even going to matter, but what the hell is Nicky Delmonico doing batting second in Sunday’s series finale against the Twins?
I’m sure Delmonico is a great dude, nice teammate and it’s not his fault that the White Sox are manipulating Nick Madrigal’s service time, but there is no reason Delmonico should be on the roster, let alone starting and especially not hitting second.
What the hell is Rick Renteria thinking? Oh and Yoan Moncada is getting a day off because sure. I mean fine, Moncada did basically only have one week to get ready for the season, but game 3?
Somehow Renteria found a way to make the lineup worse after changing it this morning.
So, Delmonico gets his second start in right field while Danny Mendick gets in the lineup for Moncada at third base.
