Reynaldo López Leaves White Sox Game In First Inning

-

Reynaldo López’s Sunday went from bad to worse, as the right-handed starter exited after only getting two outs against the Twins.

The righty served up a grand slam and his fastball velocity was noticeably down. After a 3-2 pitch he bent down which prompted White Sox manager Rick Renteria and the team trainer to come out and check on López, who was then taken out of the game.

Veteran left-hander Gio Gonzalez came in to replace López.
