Rockford IceHogs Start Players’ Fund For Health Care Workers

-

IceHogs captain Tyler Sikura announced the start of the fund on behalf of his teammates via Twitter on Tuesday.

The Chicago Blackhawks organization continues to offer a helping hand to those affected by the Coronavirus pandemic, as on Tuesday Rockford IceHogs captain Tyler Sikura took to Twitter to announce that he and his teammates have started the “IceHogs Players’ Fund for Health Care Workers.”

Sikura and the IceHogs have donated $1,000 and hope that fans at least match that total to help ease the burden of medical professionals that put themselves and loved ones at risk to help save lives.

To help match the donation that Sikura and his teammates have posted, you can donate through the GoFundMe page here.
