The Bulls announced today that Chandler Hutchison will undergo arthroscopic surgery on his AC joint in his right shoulder.
The recovery time from this surgery looks to be 3-4 months which will ultimately end his season. Hutchison has yet to play a full season with the Bulls since being drafted in 2018.
In his 28 games played this season, he averaged 7.8 points and 3.9 rebounds. The injury first occurred on Nov. 27 and Hutchison ended up missing 17 games before returning. He then reinjured his shoulder on Feb. 11 and hasn’t returned since.
His first two seasons with the Bulls haven’t gone according to plan however in the games he did play this season you could see improvements from the year before. Let’s hope recovery goes smoothly and we see him out on the court for a full season next year.
