The Chicago Bears season has been a colossal disappointment. The Bears are currently 7-8 and have both the fans and media pointing fingers on who is to blame for this mess.
Some go the simple route and blame QB Mitch Trubisky. Others are aiming the scope at the head coach. Then there is the funny/kinda dark route people go where they actually pin-point the Bears downfall way back to when Cody Parkey missed that kick in the playoffs against the Eagles.
Then there is Jason Liser. A Chicago Bears beat writer for the Chicago Sun-Times.
He wrote an article a few days ago stating it was time for the Bears to move on from Ryan Pace.

Jason went on to say this in regards to Ryan Pace’s resume:
It’s usually a simple equation.
A general manager who errs when drafting a quarterback with the No. 2 overall pick and hovers near the bottom of the league for most of his tenure gets fired. That alone is grounds for the Bears to dismiss Ryan Pace, but it’s highly unlikely.
For most of the 2019 season Ryan Pace has been MIA. He is yet to speak to the media in wake of the Bears disaster of a season and has essentially used Matt Nagy as his human shield to deflect the outside criticism.
He also has been unwilling to answer for his roster’s flaws as this season fell apart, shielding himself with a policy of Nagy being the voice of the organization during the season.
The quarterback position is the most important position in football. Unfortunately, it is also the hardest one to get right, especially if your the Chicago Bears.
With all that in mind, should Pace’s whiff on Trubisky cost him his job as a GM?
