White Sox Pitcher Tyler Johnson Named To Fall Stars Game, Vote For Blake Rutherford To Get In Too!

-

The White Sox already have one prospect who will represent them in the 2019 Arizona Fall League Fall Stars Game on Saturday and fans have the chance to vote in a second.

Right-handed pitcher Tyler Johnson has only allowed two hits and no earned runs in 5.1 innings pitching for the Glendale Desert Dogs and on Tuesday he was named to the West team in the Fall Stars Game.

Meanwhile, left-handed hitter Blake Rutherford is one of three players fans get to vote in for a spot in Saturday’s Fall Stars Game. Although Rutherford is only batting .206 in 10 games, he’s made the most of his seven hits, slugging .500, with a home run, one double and three triples, driving in five and scoring six runs. He also has six walks.

Rutherford is up against Pirates shortstop Oneil Cruz and Dodgers shortstop Omar Estevez in the fan vote.
