It doesn’t matter if you didn’t like Joe Maddon. He was the best Cubs manager in franchise history and he was the perfect hire before 2015. He led this group of players to the most successful era you or I have ever lived through being Cubs fans.
Theo Epstein said it best, “the best manager in Cubs history. He changed the franchise forever.”
