Kyle Long Reaction to Incidental Nude Filming is Classic Kyle Long

-

The Chicago Bears were in the middle of celebrating their second win of 2019 in Washington. They’d just finished off the Redskins 31-15, the franchise’s first victory against that team since 2003. Needless to say, emotions were high and guys were celebrating. Running back Tarik Cohen, a typical social media lover took some video of the locker room celebrating. Unfortunately, in this sequence he unwittingly caught teammate Kyle Long in a compromising position with no clothes on.

This inevitably caused an internet firestorm. Cohen swiftly removed the video but the damage had already been done. One can imagine this isn’t the sort of thing any self-respecting person wants online. Cohen’s was understandably upset and apologetic for his mistake. Long? His reaction was about what one would expect from him. He’s no stranger to social media, nor the reality that people screw up.

He shrugged the situation off as nothing more than an ill-timed accident. Of course, this didn’t help him escape from a cacophony of jabs from teammates over the entire thing. When asked about it by the media, he wore a smile and chose to see the video as a positive. Especially when it came to how good of shape he’s in.

“I thought I looked pretty lean. I thought my butt looked good.”

When asked if he was at all embarrassed by the incident, his response was classic.

“More like em-bare-ass-ing.”

Kyle Long proves again he’s most chill guy on that team

Given what Long has been through in his life, it’s no surprise he would react this way. He endured a lot just to reach the NFL, and even more trying to get healthy again after a string of injuries from 2016 to 2018 that came close to prematurely ending his career. Luckily he is back healthy and feeling better than he has in years. That combined with a two-game winning streak makes it easy to understand why he handled this whole issue with such nonchalance.

Odds are nobody will even remember this thing happened within a month. That’s how fast social media can move on. Long will likely do so even faster as he and the Bears prepare for a big showdown with the division rival Minnesota Vikings at Soldier Field this Sunday. Both teams are 2-1 and need to keep pace with Green Bay who currently leads the NFC North. Long and the offensive line will be needed against an always-dangerous Vikings defensive front.
