The Cubs still only have two top-100 prospects according to MLB Pipeline, but maybe things change after the offseason and new lists are unveiled before the start of the 2020 season.

As expected, Nico Hoerner jumped up in MLB Pipeline’s end of the season prospects rankings, while catcher Miguel Amaya moved up a few spots as well. Hoerner is now ranked 48th, while Amaya comes in at 91.

You can see the full rankings below.

There’s a new top-30 prospects list for the Cubs as well. Here’s the top-5.

Nico Hoerner – SS
Miguel Amaya – C
Brennen Davis – OF
Brailyn Marquez – LHP
Adbert Alzolay – RHP

You can see the Cubs top-30 here.

By the start of 2020, I think the Cubs will have at least one more prospect ranked in the top-100 of a few lists, either Brennen Davis or Brailyn Marquez. And maybe even both!
