This pretty much sums up Saturday’s 10-2 loss to the Mets by the Cubs.

Jose Quintana had his worst start since 2015, giving up nine runs, eight earned against the Mets in 4.1 innings. He gave up nine hits, which included three home runs.

The Cubs offense wasted scoring chances in the first and second innings, having base runners at first and second with nobody out both innings and coming away with no runs.

Anthony Rizzo didn’t start and halfway through the game Javier Báez was taken out in the midst of the blowout.

Victor Caratini, who got the start at first base, ended up pitching the ninth inning and he capped off the scoreless frame with this awesome play.

The Cubs will face Jacob deGrom on Sunday.
