Brandon Kintzler and Steve Cishek were practicing at Coors Field before Wednesday’s series finale and Cishek had to get carted off the field after a throw crossed him up and hit his leg.
This is the dumb shit that used to happen with the Cubs. I thought these days were in the past. Un fucking believable.
That looked bad. We’ll know more on the severity of the injury later on. An already shaky bullpen just took another hit.
I’d say that’s good news, but given that the Cubs haven’t really had the best track record with injuries for the past couple years, let’s see how Cishek feels tomorrow.
