Adam Eaton And Todd Frazier Got In A Fight When They Were On The White Sox And They Still Hate Each Other

-

Adam Eaton and Todd Frazier were teammates on the White Sox for one season back in 2016. Eaton was eventually traded to the Nationals that following offseason and Frazier was dealt to the Yankees in 2017. Then, Frazier signed with the Mets. Anyway, it turns out that ex-teammates have some sort of beef with each other.

Last year the two were caught yelling at each other across the field and on Monday night they had to be separated on the field.

Here’s the video.

Frazier didn’t want to talk about what happened after the game, but Eaton couldn’t wait to shit on his former teammate.

“Gosh, who knows what goes through that guy’s mind? He’s chirping all the way across the infield. He must really like me, ’cause he wants to get my attention,” Eaton said. “It seems like every time we come into town, he really cares what I think about him. I don’t know what his deal is, if he wants to talk to me in person or have a visit or what it is.
“But he’s always yelling across the infield at me, making a habit of it. He’s one of those guys who always says it loud enough that you hear it but can’t understand it.
“It’s funny. I was walking toward him. He didn’t really want to walk towards me. But as soon as someone held him back, then he was, all of a sudden he was really impatient, like trying to get towards me. Just being Todd Frazier. What’s new?”

And then there was this wonderful quote in the New York Post from Eaton too. Don’t bother him with this nonsense. He’s a man, has kids and a mortgage!

“He’s very childish,” Eaton said. “I’m walking with my head down. The play’s over. I’m walking away. I hear him a couple of times. I’m a 30-year-old man with two kids. I’ve got a mortgage and everything. And he wants to loud-talk as he’s running off the field. I’ve got to be a man about it. I tried to stay patient with the childishness and like I said, it is what it is. I’ve got to stand up to him eventually.”

So, what exactly started this feud?

670 The Score’s Bruce Levine chimed in and said that back in 2016, when they were both on the White Sox, Eaton and Frazier were involved in a fight.

A lot of things happened in 2016 with the White Sox. In July GM Rick Hahn basically signaled that the organization was going to start a rebuild, Chris Sale was sent home before a start because he cut up throwback jerseys and before the season ever began they lost their 14-year-old clubhouse leader Drake LaRoche.

It would be absolutely hilarious if Adam Eaton and Todd Frazier hate each other because of Adam LaRoche’s kid.

UPDATE

Todd Frazier has responded to Eaton’s comments and I mean, round 1 goes to Frazier.
