Nico Hoerner Shows Off Jaw-Dropping Speed With Inside The Park HR

-

Cubs prospect Nico Hoerner hit his first home run of 2019, and the young shortstop got to show off his speed with the Smokies Monday night.

Hoerner lined a ball to the left-field corner and it bounced off the wall and got away from the outfielder. Hoerner raced around the bases and scored easily.

Elite speed to go along with his other hitting tools? Yes, please!

In 16 games at Double-A this season Hoerner has a slash line of .304/.385/.500, with four doubles, two triples, a home run and six RBIs. He has eight strikeouts and seven walks.

Hoerner just keeps on hitting no matter where he plays.
