On Wednesday night, the biggest college basketball regular season game was played, North Carolina versus Duke. Aside from the history of the rivalry, the legendary players, coaches etc. the game is extremely cost-effective, allowing the opportunity for you to bring the whole family along!
However, the story revolving around the game is not of the rivalry, or that 85% of the ticket sales were from trust fund money, it was that of our very own, our beloved Messiah, Zion Williamson.

Now there has been a multitude of theories on this incident, some more outlandish than others. The majority are centered around if Nike did it for the free press, did MJ do this to help UNC and the Jordan brand, all fun, and interesting debates.
Being that I am at the point where everything Zion or the Bulls do is revolved around the #TankForZion campaign, here is my spin on things.
Zion has seen the Bulls slipping behind in the tank campaign. The addition of Otto Porter and his disregard of the organization’s plans have him worried. Thoughts are looming in his head that the Bulls may blow a season-long tank for the 2nd year in a row. The probability of them getting the 2nd-5th pick are increasing by the day, and Zion decided to take action.
He has been waiting for the opportune moment, and the basketball gods delivered it on a silver platter when the whole nation was watching. Spraining his knee is only the start, now the rumor mill starts going on the severity of the injury. Will he play another game? Will this be a lingering issue for him going forward? Now, as the Max Kellerman and Skip Bayless’ of the world are on week 5 of Zion watch, his stock slowly drops just a little bit. Meanwhile, RJ Barrett starts averaging 30 and 12, putting him at the top spot of the draft with Ja Morant.
This all leads to him sliding right into the Chicago Bulls hands at the 3rd spot in the draft, and we have a new savior for our organization….
