The Cubs released their 2019 broadcast schedule for the regular season and spring training and with a new TV network expected to be up and running in 2020, this will be the last time the TV schedule will look like this.
We don’t know all the details yet on the new Cubs channel, but fans should get more information before the month is over. Anyway, 2019, will be the last time fans will see the Cubs on WGN, NBC Sports Chicago and ABC7.
The Cubs will televise six spring training games, while offering some type of coverage for 32 of their 34 Cactus League games in Arizona through webcasts on Cubs.com, radio on 670 The Score, and four games on WGN and two games on NBC Sports Chicago.
The first spring training game on TV will be March 2, against the Brewers, also on WGN.

The first regular season game will be on March 28, against the Rangers on WGN.
The Cubs start 2019 with a nine-game road trip, not making their home debut until April 8, against the Pirates. That game will be on ABC7.

In 2020, the Cubs are hoping to televise all their spring training games as well as all 162 regular season matchups.
