The Ricketts Will Not Have A Fan Session At Cubs Convention, Fucking Cowards

-

Cubs fans are pretty pissed off about the lack of movement this offseason. For one, the team is crying poor, reportedly needing to shed salary just to add to the bullpen. In a free agent market that includes Manny Machado and Bryce Harper, the Cubs haven’t been linked to one and the other really only seems like a fantasy at this point. Plus, the team has decided to stick with alleged domestic violence abuser Addison Russell.

The 2019 Cubs Convention starts Friday and the rumor of the Ricketts family not facing the fans has been confirmed.

Instead Tom Ricketts will most likely be asked soft ball questions as he’ll appear on 670 The Score and ESPN 1000 Thursday morning.

Doubt that Ricketts will reveal anything of substance.

While ownership gets to hide this weekend, Cubs players and coaches will be the ones dealing with the wrath of fans. It’s been reported that the Cubs obviously want to go after Bryce Harper, but that it’s unlikely Cubs ownership will sign off on a big contract.

And now they’re hiding from the fans, unwilling to face the music. This would be the first time since they bought the team that they won’t appear in a panel for fans to ask questions.

Fucking cowards.
