First, Anthony Rizzo and now Matt Nagy? Maybe everything we’ve believed in before has been wrong all along.
This has been debated for decades, friendships ruined, families torn apart, however, Nagy isn’t afraid to answer the tough questions and he doesn’t care if you disagree.
Oh yeah, we’re talking about the most controversial debate in America, is a hot dog a sandwich?
Matt Nagy didn’t hesitate to answer. (2:23)

#CoffeeWithCoach ⏰! Matt Nagy and @lscreeden discuss the importance of #CrucialCatch and debate this week's fan question, a question for the ages: Is a hot dog a sandwich?

There you have it. A hot dog is a sandwich 100 percent because when Nagy asks his kids if they want a sandwich and they say yes, so he then asks if they want a ham and cheese sandwich and they say no, but then say yes to a hot dog.
The host of “Coffee With Coach” Lauren Screeden says a sandwich has to be two pieces of bread. But, let’s check the dictionary, Lauren.
Back in 2017, Anthony Rizzo agreed with Nagy.
I'm taking a hard stance on this one. A Hot Dog IS a sandwich. Meat between bread guys come on… no debate https://t.co/mBVrjQ7g9D

Is a hot dog a sandwich? 🤔

Hmmm, seems like Nagy and Rizzo are among the minority who agree.
Oh, by the way, this almost got me, but it’s wrong.
Trick question. A hot dog by itself is not a sandwich. However, by definition, a hotdog on a bun is a sandwich.

A hotdog is made up of the sausage and a bun. The sausage itself isn’t called a hotdog.
Glad we all settled that.
Oh and go Bears. Beat the Patriots.
