The Chicago Cubs have made some minor moves, adding a few new names to their 40-man roster. Pitchers Adbert Alzolay and Oscar De La Cruz headline the additions.
The #Cubs selected the contracts of RHP Adbert Alzolay and IF David Bote from @smokiesbaseball, and RHP Oscar De La Cruz from @Pelicanbaseball.
Additionally, OF Jacob Hannemann has cleared waivers and been assigned to @IowaCubs.

Those players are now protected from the Rule 5 Draft.
