Just three minutes after NFL Free Agency opened, Alshon Jefferey made his decision to leave the Chicago Bears and join the Philadelphia Eagles, signing a 1-year $14 million dollar deal.
Jefferey was then quick to say why he made his decision:
“It was the best decision for me and my family. Also, it’s a great situation,” he told CSN Philly. “[Carson Wentz] had a lot to do with my decision. He’s a great quarterback. I mean, the sky’s the limit for him, I think he’s going to be a future MVP.”
Well, OK then.
H/t to Terez Owens for this, haha.
Subscribe to the BFR Youtube channel and ride shotgun with Dave and Ficky as they break down Bears football like nobody else.
My personal favorite was EDP losing his shit after the Eagles trade LeSean McCoy.
