Former Chicago Cubs and White Sox pitcher Jeff Samardzija is off to a solid start this season, his first with the San Francisco Giants. After throwing eight strong innings of one-run baseball against the Reds on Tuesday night , Samardzija improved to 4-1 on the year for the first-place Giants. However, it wasn’t all positive. But it was still pretty damn funny. In the top of the eighth, Samardzija, a pitcher who takes his hitting quite seriously, struck out swinging and channeled his inner Bo Jackson.

Tuesday night wasn’t the first time that Samardzija has broken a bat over his knee. Remember this gem from a couple of years ago?
