#67-Jerry Fontenot

Tenure: 1989-1996

Jerry Fontenot started his 16-year NFL career as a Bear and while he wasn’t the starter right away at center, he was able to learn from one of the best in Jay Hilgenberg. He became the full-time starter in 1992 and started all 80 games he played in from that point on. He left the Bears following the 1996 season to join his former head coach in New Orleans…some guy named Mike Ditka.
