#55-Lance Briggs

Tenure: 2003-2014

This is one of the toughest decisons that I’ve had to make since I started this list. I’m sure a lot of you expected to see Otis Wilson here, but he was only third in my eyes. To me, it came down to Doug Buffone and Lance Briggs, but once I really looked at everything, I had to go with Briggs. The resume is there, and the tandem of he and Urlacher dominated for years. It’s hard to play alongside a guy like #54, but #55 certainly held his own with seven Pro Bowl elections of his own and three All-Pro selections, one on the First Team and two on the Second Team. Yes, he did come with some headaches (2007 comes to mind), but Lance Briggs delivered on the field.
