Danieal Manning became a very versatile player for the Bears in his five years in Chicago. Drafted in the second round out of Abilene Christian, the second-highest draft pick in the school’s history, Manning spent the first two years of his career as a key member of the secondary before splitting his time between the defense and replacing Devin Hester as the primary kick returner in 2008. He bounced back and forth between playing nickelback and free safety for the remainder of his time in Chicago before signing with Houston in 2011. He retired in 2015.
